Can’t believe my little one is 6 months old today. Perfect timing for running out of formula right? Not really, but staying postive. Thank God for the sweet potato I had bought last week because it got steamed today. I steamed it and mashed it up. I think she enjoyed it. Wow, where did the time go?
Oh the joys, now I have to start introuding soild foods. One at a time of course. We have decided to make our own. Ummm looks like someone needs a Ninja. I really want one, however any food prosecor would work for now. However, I need a good steam mop first. I can mash food with a fork ghetto style for awhile.
I actually wasn’t going to post pictures of my kids on here, however this one is way to cute to not do so.
She is adorable! What a wonderful age 🙂 Any food processor would work. Look into amazon, that’s where I bought mine 🙂
My husband is alittle of a brand name guy, all his “appliance, electronics” need to match. Hell, I say give me a cheap food processor and stir it up.
That is a cute picture indeed. I also have a six-month-old baby. Glad to see your post.
Thanks!
My littlest is almost 18 months old, and I still make most of her food. Her favourites are the fruit cocktails I make by poaching fruit in pomegranate juice. I make a bunch at a time and then throw a cup into the food processor each morning. Such a time saver!
Great idea! With my son it was all jar baby food. The thought of me making his food was defiantly a no go being a single mom and working 40+ hrs a week.
I agree, that picture is way too cute not to share. Enjoy and savor this new season of eating. 🙂
I’d love to see the mixture of foods you make for your sweet little one on your blog. That would make for some interesting posts.
Anna
Thanks Anna! Good blog idea. That is something I will do. Right now she loves her sweet potatoes.
